iPhone 3G w/iOS 4 upgrade. Huge increase in dropped calls?

I have an iPhone 3G that I upgraded to iOS 4. Since the upgrade, almost every call has been dropped. Prior to the upgrade, dropped calls were rare for me.

I did have a lot of trouble with the upgrade, and eventually had to do a restore to finally get it done.

I am a heavy user, though, and these constant dropped cals are killing me.

Any ideas on what I can do - settings changed, reinstall, anything? Thank you.

I'm having the same problem - I used to drop calls once in a while with the previous OS, now after upgrading every single call has either been dropped or has had 15-30 secs of dead air, when the other end of the conversation could not hear me.

Anyone know of a solution??

downgrade to 3.1.3....iOS 4 is not for the 3G..period!

Other friends with the 3G have complained about calls, speed, etc. Not every call, but more dropped than before.

FYI: Bumping a 2.5 hour old thread isn't great forum etiquette.
