Iphone 3G Warranty Replacement

Hi everyone,

I recently sent my iphone 3G to Apple because my wifi stopped working completely. I believe they are going to replace my phone all together.
I have heard that they are running low on iphone 3G phones. Will they send me another 3G or something else? Thanks! I just want a phone that is in equal condition.

Anyway, if you are, you'll get a 3G refurb. They've never given an upgrade like that AFAIK.

Yes, if your still under AppleCare they will give you a refurb 3G model.

The only reason I am still under warranty is because I didn't get my 3G until last October. I guess it is because I haven't had it a year yet.

up until very recently you could still buy brand new 3g iPhones so you will still them them up into 2011 that are under warranty.
