I am getting the white screen, not the typical one.. where the screen is solid white.
But one that is "glossy" almost like the backlight is in overdrive. I can see pretty much everything.
Tried to replace LCD with a back-up unit. Same problem.
Also the logic board is different from any iphone 3g i have previously seen. it has like a metal framing criss cross throughout the board.
Any thoughts?
