Hi guys,
I have checked a number of threads on this forum and others where users complained lack of WIFI after jailbreaking etc. Somewhere (can't remember where) someone was suggesting that repeated flashing of the iPhone due to respringing, restoring etc wears out the hardware, as 3G models start to grow old. In my case, I lost my WIFI after uninstalling winterboard and respringing.
However, I think in most cases the issue is NOT complete loss of wifi signal: in fact, WIFI is picked up by the iPhone alright, enter password and everything is fine. Except... the signal drops as soon as the iPhone starts using the connection (i.e. safari says there is no connection).
I think this largely shared issue has not be solved at all but most of all no one has pointed out the real reason for it!
What do you think?
