I'm having an issue with the wifi on my 3g, I can lay both my iPod Touch MC model and my 3g side-by-side and no matter what, the Touch will find my network and connect, but the 3g will not, if I allow it to sit on the wifi screen for say 15 seconds it finds it and connects, but with a very weak signal while the touch always has a full signal.

This happens to every network I try it with.

The phone is not jailbroken either, so I'm not sure what it could be.

Thanks

I had the same issue with my 3G when I used to have one. When I took it to the apple store they exchanged immediately saying that some 3G models had a defective wifi antenna. Not sure if you would still have a warranty on that device. If not try doing a complete restore.

No warranty at all, and the closest Apple store is a good 4 hour drive for me.

If I were to drive down there would they charge me to replace since it's probably defective?
