Iphone 3G, Will it take GoPhone?

I am wondering if I can buy a regular Iphone 3g 16GB off ebay that isn't unlocked and if I can buy a dirt cheap GoPhone and put the sim card from the GoPhone into the Iphone?

I did that with tmobile and a gevey sim card, im guessing you would be able to with at&t too.

I am using the sidekick plan on my iphone. $1 dollar a day and .15 cents a minute. Txting is unlimted, but internet doesnt work.
