Hi,
I'm new here and I have a very annoying problem....
I have received a iPhone 3G because my mum upgraded to a 4 and I updated it to 4.2 and the wi-fi hasn't worked since. I have taken it to my family's trusted mac support and they refuse to touch it. I have restored it, reset network settings the works.

PS

I do not wish to jailbreak etc.

iPhone 3 does not connect to Internet via wifi

This is not a helpful reply, I'm afraid. I'm looking for an answer to maybe the same problem.

I kept my 3G when I upgraded to 4 and 4S. It worked to connect to SiriusXM and other online music sources through my wifi network. As some point, however, it just stopped connecting. I hit the icon for an app and it churns but never connects. The same with searching a website with Safari. Any explanation why this suddenly happened and what I can do?
