hay guys, I had the original iphone with the $20 data plan. just got the 3g and att gave me a text saying that my current data plan is not eligible for the iphone 3g. Can I not keep the old $20 data plan with the new iphone? thanks for any reply.
 
nope, you can only get iphone 3g data plan which is 30$ a month. nothing you can do.

Sure you can keep the invalid $20 plan but AT&T will continue to send you SMS Txt messages and emails if your contact preferences are set for that type of contact.

No he can't. AT&T will automatically switch him to 3G data plan. They are just warning him of the upcoming change on his bill.
