Hi,

i have an original iphone.. and yesterday, my cousin let me borrow his old 3G (jailbroken, not sure if it's unlocked) iphone (while he has not put it up on ebay yet).. i was wondering, if i used it with my sim card and use the internet WITHOUT wifi, will i be billed eventhough i have the $20 plan for my 1G iphone?

sorry if this has been asked before, i tried looking it up and cant find what any

thanks in advance

As of now what's been observed is that you can use the 3G on a 1st gen data plan without being charged the additional $10 but you will receive texts and emails at the beginning of each billing cycle reminding you that you're using the wrong data plan and that you need to call AT&T to get it resolved.

what if i used it for like a couple of months? would that matter? in other words, they wont bill me additionally, but just keep giving me these warnings?
i have the family unlimited texting plan.. i basically just use it to check my email

thanks for the fast reply
