iPhone 3g with Rogers pay as you go?

iPhone plans in Canada are mostly $50+ and to be honest, that is way to expensive. Now I don't go on the internet or download apps or check google maps, only if I use WiFi, all I would like is the ability to text and maybe some calls so I was thinking about buying a used iPhone 3g from rogers. Could I set up a pay as you go plan on it? What would I have to do?

Yes you can use it on a Pay as you go plan easily.

Just get the phone, sign up for the payg plan in store and get a sim card from them. And you are good to go.

Just turn off Cellular Data on the iPhone. Nothing else that you need to do.
