Hi Guys,
Its really embarrassing, I should have had a more recent backup or something but I don't - and am desperately looking for help.
I have an iphone 3g that I originally got around Aug. 2008 and was on AT&T's network. About a year ago I moved overseas (Asia) and here I jailbroke and unlocked it (around Feb/Mar 2010) and it had been working fine ever since. The last time I connected it to itunes was Mar, 2010 and I can't remember if I unlocked it before the itunes backup or after....
Anyways, I currently have a dead iphone which doesn't go past the apple logo, and I have tried booting up in DFU mode as well but without connecting to itunes but still doesnt turn on (I dont want to erase all the data I have via restore, and my last backup is way too old)
Is there ANY POSSIBLE WAY to bring it back to life and without losing data...?
I honestly don't remember which OS version I had as I never had to check, all was working good....
Everywhere I have searched online for "iphone power on" related issues, most sites have the same DFU restore, which I know will erase my data, my last itunes backup as I mentioned above is from March which is too old.
I have tried to boot up several times, leaving it off or on (with the apple logo) for hours hoping it might come up but no luck.....
I would sincerely appreciate any help/advice you guys can provide...
Thx
uzee
