The mobile company Orange in the Dominican Republic has just put out 3G+ and when I called to be informed they said that IPHONE is not designed to work with 3G+ but that soon Apple was to put out an IPHONE that could work in that frequency. Does anyone know if this is so? I was told by the Orange executive that 3G+ is twice as fast as the 3Gs which is what the Iphone is able to handle. Any info would be appreciated.

Looking at their website and using the Spanish I remember from high school, 3G+ is just their name for HSPA which the iPhone 3GS already supports.

"Tecnología HSPA o 3G+ con velocidad hasta 7.2 Mbps"

HSPA technology, or 3G+ with speeds up to 7.2 Mbps
