I was just on youtube on my iPhone 3GS and it was running low on battery life with 2% and then it powered itself off as it needed battery life.
Then before I got to plug it in, it jumped to 12%battery life and said it was plugged in and I never even plugged it in yet.
Then I ran to plug it in and it will now NOT charge at all, it keeps showing the red battery charge thing but it doesnt move any percent up.
Why is this and how to I fix it.
It will not let me go to my home screen as it needs a certain amount of charge in order for it to do that.
Please help me someome, I even tried to plug it into my macbook and it does not recogzie it.
Is it the battery, or the usb plug?
Looking forward to your replies.
Thank you so much in advance. :)

Got another USB cable handy to test it with? Also try resetting the phone by holding down sleep / wake + home button. Try another USB port. Still have the wall adapter?
