iPhone 3GS - 1603 error wont restore

I turned off my 3GS for a few hours and when I turned it on it said connect to iTunes. Now I try to restore and it wont, error 1603....

anyone know how to fix this?

No hacks on the phone, completely stock from the day I got it.
