Iphone 3gs 16g white screen

Hey, i have an iphone 3gs 16g and i tried unblocking it and i put the wrong firmware on it. After that it seemed like the screen was off a bit, a bit later the screen just turned completely white. You could barely see anything besides white on the screen. I already did a hard reset on my laptop with the Iphone. Should i go to the apple store and have them fix it? I don't use my iphone for calling or anything, i seemply use it for music. Just like a touch
