i have a iphone 3gs 3.0.1 and it's unlocked. Is there anyway i can upgrade to 3.1.2 if there's can someone please tell me how to do that or can i just restore and keep my firmware 3.0.1. I have too much stuff on my iphone i want to do a restore and keep my firmware 3.1.2 or under so i can unlock it again... someone please tell me how to restore without update to 3.1.3. Thank you

i wouldnt recommend you upgrade if you use 3g on your 3gs unlocked. blacksn0w is highly unstable and the 3g signal drops every 10 minutes or so. works fine if you only use edge tho.

firstly outz your the jackass theres no need for your reply, if you haven't got something informative or helpful to say don't reply ;):rolleyes:
Well, unfortunately in my eyes a post of "??????????????????????????" seems like a bump to me and those are not allowed. :)

clearly it wasn't cause he can upgrade without using the buggy blacksn0w baseband unlock and stay with ultrasn0w ;):rolleyes:

This is correct, as long as the OP's SHSH's are on file with Cydia, then they should be able to restore to a pwned 3.1.3 firmware, while keeping their 4.26.x baseband. :)

I jailbreak mine with Spirit on my 3.1.2 firmware. It took like 5 second and it work great. The only drawback is that it can't be unlocked yet.

3.1.2 baseband version 05.11.07 can be unlocked with blacksn0w, if you have updated to 3.1.3 and downgraded to 3.1.2 then it cant be unlocked, using pwnagetool for OP's situation solves the mess of waiting for an unlock as they will have an earlier unlockable baseband

thank you andy and other people that repling here... i'm sorry outz, i don't know the question mark made you mad...
