Hello i bought iphone 3gs on ebay, it appeared to have ios3.1.3, when i wanted to restore to 4.0.2(because i want to unlock and dont want ipad baseband) error 3194 pops up, please help, thanks

Did you use TinyUmbrella on the same computer? Does your HOSTS files have any entries in it blocking gs.apple.com? If you don't know what a HOSTS file is google it and see if you have any entries in it that references gs.apple.com. Remove that entry and see if it helps.
do you have shsh blob save for your 3GS? if not, you can't get the phone to 4.0.2 because apple stopped signing this firmware.
