Iphone 3gs 3g issue.

Hi there, I have jailbroken a 3gs using Snowbreeze (2.7.3) and then unlocked it with ultrasnow (1.2.3).

I am on 4.3.3 and running 6.15.0

The phone worked perfectly for a week or so then....

I am getting the message "could not activate cellular data network"

"cannot open page safari cannnot open the page because it is not connected to the internet."

I have my carriers name (top right) and the 3g sign and a strong signal, but keep getting these errors.

I've checked and rechecked the APN, user name and password and they are all correct, disabling and restarting 3g makes no difference.

Strangely if I reboot the phone and search in safari it connects to the page and then throws up the error.

I'm a noob to jailbreaking and would appreciate any help.

Wifi works fine.

Try turning off WIFI and see if it makes a difference. My 3GS often tries to use wifi when it has a good 3G signal and no WIFI.

Cheers for the idea nebo1ss but it still fails to connect.

Well, just in case anyone has a similar fault and finds this post searching, while swapping sim cards between this phone and another to rule out a faulty sim card, it started working and has continued to work all day. Bizarre, but it works so I'm happy.
