Hi,

after years with my beloved iPhone 2g I've decided to upgrade. When I bought iPhone 3GS 16GB I had to upgrade it to iOS 4.0. Just after this update I could not make outcoming calls, seconds after starting a call iPhone was showing "call failed". It turned out that the solution was as simple as going to settings->general->date & time and switching off "set automatically". I thought that I'm past this problem till iOS 4.0.1 update. Since this update I'm having the exact same problem and I have no idea how to solve it.:( Anybody have an idea?

PS. sorry about my english but it's my second language.

I have a similar problem. Call failed on first attempt to call out, but second attempt works immediately afterwards. Annoying...
