iPhone 3GS 4.2.1 (official) want to downgrade to 4.1 (and then jb it)

Hi,

I thought I could jb 4.2.1 and get the tethering hack to work without issues. Well, I was wrong. In any case, I had some issues and had to restore to an official 4.2.1 iOS. How can I get back to 4.1 so I can jb and then apply the commcenter tethering hack? (I am on AT&T)

I have an shsh blob saves called *-iphone-4.1.shsh. (I also have iphone-4.2b3.shsh and iphone-4.2.1.shsh)

First you will need your ipsw for your current phone. You can find and download from this reliable source(not advertising, just did it yesterday from here so I know its legit and wont waste your time + the site is great for news )

Get TinyUmbrella
Push Get SHSH Blobs (Save SHSH)
Close iTunes(if open) and TinyUmbrella
Open Tiny Umbrella, hit Start TSS server
Then open iTunes,
Plug phone in(doesnt matter if it was in before)
Shift and click restore (for Windows!) or option click( for Mac) on restore. Then you should be able to navigate to the ispw you downloaded.
Then click it and restore. It will be downgraded!

If you need more instruction or download links to tiny umbrella or the jailbreak programs let me know!

Then grab greenpoisi0n or limera1n and rejailbreak!
Make sure to run those as admin, caused me a lot of trouble yesterday >.>

Thats for pwnage tool which I have never used and have no idea how to. Is your phone unlocked? (Used on other carriers?)

then just redownload a fresh official ispw to downgrade too and do it through the methods above.
That custom one may work, but i have no idea.

Do you have pwnage or redsnow? You might have to go through pwnage (if you have a mac) or redsnow (if you are windows).
FYI: pwnage isn't used for unlocking. Ultrasnow is used for unlocking.
