iPhone 3GS 4.2.1 Redn0w Hacktivation problem. HELP

At this point, I have probably spent 10hrs trying to hacktivate my iPhone. When jailbreak it using redsn0w 0.9.8b7c, i TICK Install Cydia and Deactivate, but when the iPhone restarts after the Jailbreak I'm always stuck on the emergency call only lock screen.
I am using Mac OS X Lion 10.7
iPhone 3GS 4.2.1 NEW bootrom.

I need help please.

Get a hold of old/inactivated AT&T sim, hook it up with Itunes and it will activate/bring your phone to home screen.
