iphone 3gs 5.1 dies as soon as i put my simcard in

Hello, just like title says. the phone dies as soon as i put simcard in.
tried several cards with same result.

i got previously 5.01 jailbreak and restored with 5.1

the phone usually stayed up untill 40-50% battery. but now 100% battery and phone dies as soon as i put simcard in.

very strange. is there anything i can do??
