Hi there. With all the hype around iphones i naturally have always wanted one , but due to me being a poor student, i have had to wait this long. I brought a 8gb 3gs (the new kind released with iphone 4, as the 8g used to be 3g only). I am shocked with the battery life however. If its at 100% in the morning, notifications/ blutooth / wifi off, and i make no calls, just text messages and check emails 5 times a day, brightness at 50%, it will be flat at 6pm. Anyone else find this?

As soon as i posted i realised

Here in New Zealand our main carrier is Telecom XT, which is a nationwide 3g ONLY network. The good: 3g coverage is available in 97% of the country which means i get super fast data speeds everywhere. The BAd thing is it DRAINS battery. Turn 3g Data off ? you kill your mobile connection.
