Last night, i couldn't retreive my emails, it just kept trying to connect. I had the same problem again this morning, and thought that maybe turning it off and on again might solve it.

When i tried to turn it off it wouldnt shut down properly and just kept displaying the spiinning wheel for hours, so to try and reset it (my home button doesnt work) i took it apart and disconnected the connector which was labeled 1, put it back in and now its totally dead. Wont start or charge, pc says usb device not recognised, tried taking it apart and making sure all connectors are secure but nothing.

Anyone heard of anything similar to this before, is there anything else i can try? Due to the age of it i dont really want to send it off for repair, but would at least like to get the data off it and then wipe it to sell on as faulty.

Thanks
