I just came back to an iphone from owing an Android phone and my question is..

Is there a way to create a group of contacts in Gmail (on desktop) and only sync the contacts in that group to my iPhone? I also want to be able to add a contact on my iPhone and when I sync only to that same group in Gmail.

I have the latest version of Itunes there is an option to sync contacts with google but once i enter my gmail id and password to configure it, it doesnt let me choose "selected groups" only "all contacts"

Please help
thanks
Angelo

I think it only syncs the my contacts group.

Anything not in that group will not go to your phone.

Thats a bummer considering the HTC Hero I had before was more customizable regarding that.
