There has probably been hundreds of threads on this but I am monitoring my battery so much when I use it. Even just playing a simple application for 5 minutes, it drains my battery by quite a lot.

Hardly lasts me throughout the day. I am finding myself having the charge it a lot more than I used to with my iPhone 3G.

Anyone else having the same problem and is there anything I can do?

Regards,
Wesley.

I simply don't worry about it. My phone lasts the entire day with everything turned on. I don't play games on it but the apps I do use don't drain the battery very fast. I restored my iPhone as a new phone last week and that was when my battery life improved even more.

I have been fairly surprised with the amount of battery life that my 3GS has been getting. Also, I am even more pleased with the amount of time that it takes to re-charge the iphone now. In my own opinion, I believe that my 3GS charges nearly twice as fast as my 3G did. However, all results will vary some I am very pleased thus far.
