iphone 3gs bluetooth connection to kenwood ddx616

I have paired the devices both for handsfree bluetooth calling. Thus, when i get in the vehicle, my phone should automatically connect to the kenwood deck. It connects only have the time. I have to manual click on the bluetooth option in the phone. Any help?

Hi OP - I asked a very similiar question yesterday and no one had any advice. I think that it can only be automatically paired to one device at a time (i.e. you car OR you bluetooth headset). Maybe I'm wrong but I can not find any info on this anywhere.
