I have just bought a wireless Bluetooth head set (handfree) to use once driving.
i switched my new device
then phone bluetooth
but nothing is getting found..

i even got 2 of these headsets and both of them are not getting found by the iphone

any help plz to get it up and going

Did you actually pair the devices? It sound like all you did was turn blutooth on. You actually have to pair the devices.

Settings>General>Bluetooth>ON

You should see "now discoverable" on the iPhone. Set your device that you are pairing in pairing mode (this will vary by device, look in the instructions for the specific device to do this). Once that is done, the device should show up on the iPhone. Select it. It may require you to enter a pin. Pins are usually "0000" or "9999", but may be different (again the manual will help with that).

hi i done this

settings- general - bluetooth - knocked on

then on my screen it says

bluetooth on
DEVICES
Searching ----- Loading circle thing here
Now discoverbale

and nothing else. only got option to clock the blue tooth on or off, or the genral tab

The headset needs to be discoverable first. Typically, you would just hold the power button on the headset while it is off until it enters this mode. Once the light on the headset flashes blue and red quickly, or stays solid blue, you should be good to search for it with the iPhone.

You still make no mention as to what you did with the headset in order to make it discoverable. generally there is a certain combination of button presses you need to do on the bluetooth headset.

Let's do it this way, what bluetooth headset do you have? I might be able to help you easier that way.
