iphone 3gs call ended with only one signal bar

Hi everyone,

i have iphone 3gs iOS 4.0.2. its jailbroken and unlocked.

i've the "Call Ended" problem. i surfed lots of forums and a lot of google.. nothing seems to solve my problem. my configuration is as follows:

settings->general->enable 3g = OFF
settings->general->date & time->set automatically = OFF
settings->general->date & time->timezone = SHANGHAI
settings->phone->show my caller ID = ON
settings->phone->call waiting = OFF
settings->phone->call forwarding = OFF
Push notifications-> OFF

i've restarted the phone many times. nothing seems to be working.

another noticeable thing is that the Signal bars is showing only one bar.

but i cant receive calls, cant make calls

any help would be appreciated

SBSettings and lockinfo were behaving little nasty for last 1 day or so.. i've uninstalled both of them.

one more thing:
settings->general->about shows the correct carrier name which is "China mobile"
