I just rung up orange and they said they can unlock my iphone for £20.00, so I said yes since my options for unlocking were to upgrade to the Ipad baseband, which has been tempting, but too many apps make use of gps which meant £20 for the unlock seemed fairly reasonable.

Anyway, they said the unlock would take place through Itunes. Does anybody know how this works? I'm on software 4.3.1, baseband 05.16.02, jailbroken, would I need to upgrade the software? Also, if I did need to, is the latest jailbreakable if upgrading through Itunes (or could I update the usual way of downloading the ipsw etc)?

Thanks in advance...
