Hi I have just got my iPhone 3gs and I wanted to get a case for it but I don't know which one to get. Here's what I want from the case:

Needs to protect everything (home button, screen, back, power and possibly side buttons) so that you never touch the phone/screen at all when using it.

Quite thin and lightweight

Easy to take off and on

thanks if you can help me out

There is no case that will protect that well and is thin, lightweight and easy to take on and off. I think you are asking for too much and will have to compromise somewhere.

If you want total protection I recommend an Otterbox Defender, but it is far from slim. I use a Defender or an Otterbox Commuter on my iPhone most of the time now.

I think two good choices are

And the Ottorbox defender tho it is a little more bulky.

I am still on the fence for a case as well I am liking these both but I have also considered the Ottrobox commuter but it doesn't have the screen protection

The one thing about the ivyskin that has really been getting to me is that they come with a nice battery extender..

I also suggest you look at the cases thread alot of good choices out there.

Yeah thanks.

I am thinking of getting one of those ivy skin ones as it covers the whole phone

But does anyone else have any other suggestions too?

my 2 cents

I have had the Ivy skin for a few months. When I was looking it seemed to be the best choice of protection/size for the phone. I also recently purchased the battery extender.

I would however not recommend this case due to their horrible customer service. If you ever have to contact the company they are very rude and unresponsive to after sales support.

In light of that the otter box may be a better way to go.

Cheers:)
