iphone 3gs dfu mode pls help ...

hi my iphone 3gs is in dfu mode and it ask me to connect to itunes (iphone recovery mode)and restore to factory setting and updates to lastest software but will it was restoring its say THE IPHONE COULD NOT BE RESTORED.... anyone can help me ... what should i do?

Reboot your computer and try the restore again.

Have you tried a different USB port or cable?
