Iphone 3Gs did not arrive with receipt

I need a receipt to show to my insurance company. Has anyone noticed that their package only came with a packing slip and no receipt?

If you ordered it from Apple, you can login again to their site and print the receipt from there. Didn't you get a receipt emailed to you when you ordered?

Thanks. I only got a shipment notification and order confirmation but no actual receipt.

I recently ordered a macbook and ipod touch on the apple website and didn't get the invoice till a few days after it was delivered.

i was able to, however, print out an invoice when i went to the website and logged in to track my order.
