iPhone 3gs does not respond. its been one year i had it. The phone was running out of battery so i kept it on the wall charger. As usual took the phone and tired to use it - NO response.

Tried the following :

> pressing the home and power button for 10+ seconds
> Recovery mode. (connected to computer, press the home button and connected the USB Cable).
> DFU mode (pressed power and home button -- and then connected the USB Cable)
> Different chargers. ( I know the chargers are working because i checked them with other iphone)
> removing the SIM card.

Nothing works. the screen is blank, the computer + iTunes does not recognize it.

The Apple genies guy was horrible. My appointment was at 11:40 pm , I arrived about 10 minutes late and first thing he mentioned that I am late and I have to wait for another available appointment for the afternoon. While taking an appointment, It did not say anywhere on the web that my appointment was only valid for 10 minutes. I had to argue with him first on that topic before he even looked at the phone issue.

After 5+ minutes discussion -- He then agreed to look into the problem . Once he know the phone was one year + 30 days old, I think he had no intensive to look into the problem. He spent about 5 minutes and came back with a worthless answers. He even suggested that the Mac outfitters might fix it.

I asked him whether he had seen issues like this in the past -- all he kept saying my phone is 13 months old. I think Apple should use these opportunities to learn and improve to make a better product . I am a big fan of apple products and I am re-thinking my opinion.

Any other advise. Did anyone try the iphonedoctor? i posted a similar question on the Apple discussion forum.

Thank you in advance.
