Iphone 3gs Email is FROZEN!!!

I press on the email icon and all I see is a white screen , and then after a few seconds it goes right back to the homescreen! this has been going on for 3 days. Ive turned it off and on a couple times......still it doesnt work. has anyone seen anything like this???? Can anyone help?!

Try removing all of your Mail accounts in the Settings app and readding them.
