iPhone 3GS Factory Unlocked Or Not???

Anyone want to call in and unlock my iPhone 3GS?? Please! lol.....

So I called AT&T Customer service at 4:06 P.M to unlock my iPhone. Had to open a case because I had purchased my iPhone 3GS online. Gave them the IMEI #. the Representative told me that even though I din't have the "Proof of Purchase" that they might still Accept the unlock he also said it might take to 6 -7 days to process.

At 4:26 I got the E-mail with the PDF file and instructions (anyone know by looking at PDF if they approved it?? am Not sure.)

I've restored a few times and still says "Sim Not supported"

I don't have AT&T I have T-Mobile.....

anyone know if they will approve the unlock??

I followed the instructions and set the phone up as NEW during the restore.

Finally got a screen in iTunes that said the phone was unlocked.

Took almost 24 hours after I called and got the email.

AT&T Sim

Do you have the AT&T sim card that came with the iPhone? If you do, try the restore with the AT&T sim installed. That worked for me even thought the sim wasn't active.

yes I have tried this.
restored with at&t sim card.
never got "Congrats your iPhone is unlocked" after restore

DIDN'T get unlock message the first time. Waited 24HR tried again and it worked.
Did not restore from backup setup as NEW.

I just tried the restore with att sim card and still did not unlock yet .. does it have to be original sim that with phone or any att sim.
