iPhone 3GS (Factory Unlocked) + OS 4

so i was wanting to know, with the modem firmware update as well as the OS update, does the factory unlock still stick or what?

i did that last night, downgraded from 4.0 to 3.1.3 and the unlock has stuck, but want to confirm that the unlock will stick with 4.0.

To me I thought it had to do with the baseband (which is not effected by any OS Update) because it's not a part of the OS, its a part of your phone --However I may be wrong but I am pretty sure thats correct

your iPhone should be fine.

factory Unlocked! also why true factory unlocked phones command more money! the owner doesn't have to worry about losing his unlock with firmware upgrades/ if he jb's he can still loose that!
