As that would be a developer release of OS 4, it's a terrible deal. You should never use developer iPhone software unless you're a developer.

Other software? Maybe. I've never seen a good case of using a prerelease iPhone OS before its launch, though.

but could i not just upgrade the software, when it is released? like in os 3
thats what i did last year

Yea it is a good deal but i'd wait for the new iPhone. You can just downgrade from the 4.0 software if you want to.

Would you be satisfied with unstable, buggy software for the next few weeks while the fourth iPhone is being prepared for launch? You'll have no support from Apple during this time, either, as you're not a developer and I don't remember developer betas being part of AppleCare.

according to the seller, its beta 4, and i heard that that is quite stable, so should be fine, plus i really need a phone quick, and it has 5 cases!

Why waste money when we are 2 days away and see what happens?

not only that... the auction ends in 4 days.

i don't think the OP understands how ebay works.

that price you see is not a buy it now price, it's just the starting bid. it will likely go up another couple hundred bucks.

Or the price will stabilize once the new iPhone is announced.
