Iphone 3GS forgot to delete all info/pics before getting it repaired

It is a third party place i went to get it repaired. not at apple. i forgot to delete my info and pics. it had passcode lock on it. i got the connector replaced last week. it was same day repair and i got it back the same day. is it possible for them to copy things from my iphone such as photos and contacts?

What's the lesson?

Don't keep your nudes in your camera roll. That's what picture safe is for.

Yeah man, someone might be seeing you or your girlfriend naked. But don't sweat it, they'll just be jealous they aren't getting that. hahaha
