I attempted to replace my fpc # 3 connector for the ear speaker today and like an idiot I did not take my time. I ended up lifting 4 of the solder pads for the connector. I scrapped the area where the solder pads were located with an exacto knife and there is copper there. What I want to know is if I can just put solder on this copper or is it even part of the circuit. I do have a tiny drop of solder on each of the trace points were the pads lifted but I did not know if the copper under the pads was the same circuit as the solder pads themselves or if the copper is is a separate part of the logic board. I can take some pictures it you do not understand clearly what I am saying. Sure would appreciate some helpful input concerning my situation and thank you kindly.
