I upgraded from the original iPhone to the iPhone 3Gs yesterday and after getting everything up and running, I noticed the Genius playlist feature didn't work for any song, even though it's the exact same music library as my old iPhone, on which Genius did (and still does) work perfectly.
I've tried turning Genius off then back on through iTunes on my Mac and re-syncing. Didn't work. I've tried copying a Genius playlist from iTunes to the iPhone 3Gs and the playlist shows up as a Genius playlist, but trying to create a new one on the phone (even using the same song) still yields the error message "Try Again. This song does not have enough related songs to create a Genius Playlist" even though that's obviously not true. I get the same error whether I click the Genius button while a song is playing, or if I go through the playlists Genius feature and choose a song from the list.
Does anyone else have this issue? I hope it can be fixed as the Genius Playlist was one of my favorite features. Thanks!
