Hello, i have an iphone 3gs that has a very messed up home button situation. The home button seems to be shorted, but not in the dock connector or home button assembly itself. I tested the phone with a known working home button and dock connector. It stays on all the time and i cannot get the iphone out of recovery mode. I am positive the problem is located somewhere in the motherboard. A few days ago i was looking around google for a fix and i found that if i remove a resistor around where the dock connects to the motherboard that it will fix this issue. Unfortunately i cannot find this site again. Anyone know of a fix? Thanks in advance.
