So In my previous post i explained that no matter how many times I try
to unlock my Iphone 3GS 3.1.3 (05.12.01) with Ultrasn0w, it wont work.

And I then called the official carrier of the iPhone and he told me
that it was reported stolen, that some dude had falsly taken out
plenty of iphones on someone else and then apparently sold them.

No my question is, what the f*ck can I do ?
I am officially ****ed I know that, but there has
to be something I could do except throwing the damn phone.

Appreciate helpful replies.

Sincerly, Karismatic.

Track me down ? :p I didnt steal it, I bought it off a add
on the net completly legal, the dude had the box and everything
So I thought it was a honest deal, anyway

My older brother knows a dude that unlocks iphone
and he said that he has fixed imei locked iphones before
and that there was a 60 % chance he could fix mine

I am not ********ting my brother has a 3GS 16GB
and it was also stolen but he actually unlocked it
to all networks. Do not ask me how, if I knew I
wouldnt pay him to do it for me.

Anyway wish me luck and if it doesnt work, selling it is :D

Not possible tell that dude.
You cant change the IMEI on an iphone. Maybe other cellphones.
Unlocked or not, once you try to use that IMEI numbered cellphone on any local carriers it will automaticly be blocked.
Good luck though.

I dont know, he said that the carrier ( 3 ) thats what they are called
have their own imei something, I couldnt really understand,
he said all the other carriers share imei blocks except 3 thats why
there was a 60 % chance, but like I said I dont know if it's completly
******** or not. I guess we will just see.

And i'll hope for the best!

If you buy a stolen car, it can be taken from you...Even if you payed for it legally.
The same goes with a computer, cell phone, anything.
Obviously it's not "completely legal" if the phone was stolen.

There is no legal way to unblock your phone. Your only hope is to go back to the person from whom you bought it, but if they stole it then I doubt you have much hope! This is because the phone is effectively stolen and is therefore added to a blacklist of phones which may not connect to any carrier.

It is possible to change the IMEI, but as stated, this is completely against the law. In the UK, it is an offence under the Mobile Phones (Reprogramming) Act 2002 and can lead to a penalty of up to 6 months imprisonment, a £5000 fine or both. Although I don't know if you live in the US and thus applicable law may be different in your area!
