I have an iphone 3gs that has a firmware older than 3.1.3 (i think its 3.1.1) and new bootrom, i previously unlocked it using tethered jailbreak from blackrain. It relocked itself a while back and has been that way for a while. i didn't bother much with it as i was waiting for the jailbreak and unlock which was postponed till after iphone4 released. i am now wondering what is the best way to get the iphone unlocked? i apologize if my terminology is not exact, but i am a novice at this. any help or guidance would be very much appreciated. thanks

With the latest tool(s) that have been released, can you now unlock and use your iPhone 3gs? I was looking for a 3gs for a while but was confused on what to get regarding firmware/baseband, etc so didn't do anything.
