In an attempt to un-jailbreak my iPhone 3GS, I updated in iTunes to iOS 4.3.5. Bad idea - the operation failed, and now the iPhone is stuck in a recovery loop. Trying to restore again in iTunes doesn't solve the problem; it just gives error code 1015. Has anyone had to deal with this problem before? How would one reset or restore his iPhone under such circumstances? I heard this issues has something to do with incompatible baseband version numbers, but I'm not sure how I would go about fixing this problem.

I just hope to restore my phone to working order.

After doing some research, it's possible that the iPad baseband is what's causing the error. Is there a way to downgrade this without iTunes, or being able to use the iPhone interface (seeing as it won' boot) ?
