Iphone 3GS jailbreak?

F**** springboard made my iphone crash and I had to restore it to 3.1.3...

It used to have firmware 3.0..

I've been desperately looking for a solution last night, but nothing.

Is it possible to jailbreak it? and unlock it? HOW

And what is an untethered jb vs a tethered one?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Did you have your SHSH's saved thru cydia?
If you did you can go down to 3.1.2 and JB but cannot unlock.

He likely cannot jailbreak either since he probably didn't save his hashes and he is on official Apple 3.1.3.
