I have an iPhone 3GS that just stopped working, it went to apple logo when turnt on but never loads, now it's stuck in recovery mode and when I try to restore to a newer firmware it gets stuck at 'Waiting for iPhone' in iTunes.
The iPhone is on 5.1.1 and baseband 06.15.00.

Can anyone help and thank you :)

You need to use a custom firmware if you want to restore your 3GS.

Simply, Just connect your iPhone with iTunes and update iOS with the latest version. iPhone will start working with new iOS, then jailbreak it again.
