Thank you..! I will try that option but I have read that once I have updated to that base band I can never ever get back to my old firmware by which I will be loosing the GPS feature for ever. Is that true ? What all would be my limitations?

With the iPad baseband, you will no longer be able to restore or update to stock Apple firmware and will be limited to using custom firmware created by Sn0wbreeze or Pwnagetool, which are both programs that allow you to take an Apple firmware file, (called an IPSW) and feed it to the program which will spit out a custom firmware that you can either restore or upgrade to. In addition to this, your GPS will be fried.
