iPhone 3Gs luanch sales figures ??? anyone know...

I don't think any have been released yet. As far as I've read though, many investors are expecting over the initially predicted 500,000 after better than expected sales.
 
i've heard on local news that, due to the presales, it's doubled the 3g's opening weekend.
 
i highly doubt that it would be double!!!

when the iphone 3g came it was released world wide.. there are only a handful of countries getting the 3gs over this weekend.. so how could the us consume double of what the world would have consumed over one weekend!?!?!?!?
