Iphone 3gs lyrics problem?

Whenever I sync or restart my iPhone 3GS, something weird happens. The first song always displays the lyrics, then the next one won't. From then on every OTHER song displays lyrics without me having to double tap the screen to show it. If i skip a song that doesn't show lyrics and go back, then it displays them. I manually have to go through all 1800 of my songs and show the lyrics so that when I shuffle, it shows the lyrics on ALL songs. This was frustrating when I added songs to my iPhone and then the lyric problem returned. Would a restore from backup or factory restore fix this? HELP!!!

Don't think so. I have the same 'problem' on my iPhone 2g.

yea

its annoying as crap cause i went through all 1800 songs and restarted and the same problem happened. i also made like 3 playlists and when i added a movie they all dissapeared
